Great idea. To raise my top crown I have to switch to a boxxer tall crown which has some fit issues with my bike. Washers seem sketchy and I don't really want to swap handlebars since I'm just experimenting.
I thought the advantage of running a 10 speed cassette is to have a larger gear ratio while still having small gaps between gears. If this is the only advantage than why would you run a 10 speed system that can only take a maximum cog size of 28? The cranks look awesome.
I've been riding these pedals for about six months and absolutely love them. I wear 5 10s and have to say that I almost think they have too much grip. If anything, I would consider running shorter pins. I like them so much that I bought a set for my other bike. Mine have really held up but I probably ride less rocky trails.
